Errr, naming. I got to that 2000 names site (which is terrible for the ads) and wander about foreign names with traits I want until I see something I like. Or I google fu things like Tiger Name and end up with Jalur. I really don't spend much time with names at all, I'm afraid. Yet another reason why I'm BAD at helping people because I know this bothers a lot of writers. I think it is easier to name if you have an idea of who the character is and why he or she is occupying the space. For that reason, I don't keep lists of names. I wish I didn't have so many characters whose names start with "M" -- that was a mistake. Oops.
