Welcome back! And wow, you returned with such a terrific fic on the NFE. I read it before the reveals but hadn't had time to comment yet but when I saw the name "Ferrin", I knew it sounded familiar and had to search through LJ to figure out which writer it was. :-)
The story was awesome, by the way. I don't really go for ships but I really liked your Peridan/Susan relationship here. And I feel so bad for them both, having feelings for each other but not admitting to it because of protocol, etc. What makes it even worse was that by accepting the ambassadorship role, Peridan gets the rewards he needs if he wants to be closer to Susan but alas, six years is a long time and the Pevensies will be gone from Narnia by then. (And I still love how your Susan remembers England when no one else does.)
Now, I'm more interested in seeing the relationship between these two when Susan and Edmund visit Tashbaan in HHB.
And wow, you've had such a rough year. I'm glad to hear you're feeling all better too. Sometimes, I think I do need to do a food cleanse but it's so hard to give things up (I've already been to a few Chinese doctors who told I should not be eating a bunch of stuff that I really, really love. Sigh.)
